The most recently launched market - Paul, the manager of the Black Boy pub contacted us to run a weekly market there. Paul is a strong believer in the value of a community hub, and wanted to build a weekly market at his pub, which is a perfect place for the local residents to shop healthily and locally whilst meeting friends and neighbours, have a coffee, and talk to the producers of their food. The market has to be financially sustainable for the stall holders to be able to grow and continue, so please come along, see what you fancy, and if you like it then let others know! Stalls include... Locally reared buffalo meat, plants, apple juice, seasonal fruit and vegetables, healthy ready meals, eggs, quiches and pies, cheese, cakes and more!

There is space on the market managers table to display leaflets on local events and information, a magazine recycling service, and we are happy to come and do tasting sessions at local playgroups, mother and baby groups or any other places where the community comes together! Just come along and have a chat with Caron or Cathy!
